Still a bit of jaw-ache after some nasty dental work this week, so no singing for me TONIGHT when Fireball play at The Bräu in Rutesheim. Should be OK for next Saturday though – at the Schwabenschänke in Renningen – hope to see you there!

Don’t forget Fireball tomorrow night at Biddy Early’s – should be a good one.

We will be playing at the first ‘Under Cover’ night at the LKA Longhorn club in Stuttgart on 26.02.11. Also playing I think are Party Blues in B flat and But Stones. I think we are on somewhere in the middle!  It’s only €5 so come on down!

We went all the way to Gera to play for a motorbike racing presentations night at the large Schützenhaus (formerly the Karl Marx Kulturhaus) and take this nice pic. That’s rock and roll…

Another year has flown by, and suddenly it is 2011. Thanks to everyone who reads this website and comes to the gigs – it is always good to see people at the gigs!

It is a quiet start to the new year, and after we have all recovered from eating and drinking too much at Christmas, Fireball will be playing at a private party in the East of Germany on 15.01. Other gigs include:

• Fireball at Biddy Early’s in Stuttgart on 05.02
• Solo gig at the secret location again on 12.02 (read the last post carefully, or just ask me where it is if you want to come down).
• Fireball at The Adler D’Onofrio in Eislingen on 19.02

How about two fireball gigs?

After a very long and difficult summer pause for many reasons, we are back and ready to go.

We will be proud to be the first band to grace the stage at the Bräu this Friday – 22.10 in the new location of:
Im Bonholz 3, 71277 Rutesheim. Telephone number is 07152/44640.

Then on Saturday 23.10, we plan to rattle some eardrums at Biddy Early’s in Marienstrasse Stuttgart.

Both gigs kick off at 9pm check the gigs page or the fireball website for more info.

…and finally it looks like there is some work on the horizon. I have a couple of things to let you know about and hopefully a few more to come. Firstly Fireball. After an uneventful and unhappy summer we are getting our asses into gear and will soon be rocking again and unveiling our new website too. Not quite ready yet, still a few last-minute touches to be made, but I will let you know as soon as it is ‘open’. We will be playing at the opening party of the New Bräu in Rutesheim on Friday 22.10, and then the day after on 23.10 at Biddy Early’s in Stuttgart

Solo, I can confirm two new dates: First at the Musikcafe Alt-Ergenzingen in Ergenzingen on 29.10, and then 03.12 at the Cafebar in Rottenburg.

All dates are in the gig guide on this website – but please check HERE first before travelling to a gig – I cancelled my 22.09 gig at Oscar’s back in August – I have the confirmation mail, but they still left it on their website, and some people travelled to the gig expecting to see me and were disappointed – makes me look bad!!

More gigs coming…

"Every body needs a summer holiday..."

I just wanted to give an update as it looks like nothing is happening at the moment. Actually, this is not true – quite a lot is happening, but most of it private! I have played a few private parties lately and also had to cancel more gigs than I would like, due to circumstances beyond my control. Fireball are also taking a break at the moment after a few missed gigs.

My next solo gig is at Oscar’s on 04.08, and after that I have nothing until 22.09.

The next Fireball gig is at the new Bräu on 16.10

So, we have a long summer break, and I want to use that time to maybe record a new solo CD, get some new songs together, and work really hard on getting a lot of gigs from September onwards, both for myself and the band.

Look forward to seeing you either at Oscar’s, one of the private parties, or else after the summer break.

Unfortunately Till, our drummer, is injured, and we will not be playing at the Tridays festival as planned.

We are all really disappointed, and we are sorry if you were planning on coming to see us there.
